Day 3 Storyboards

Think of a storyboard as a comic strip with 8 frames. Keep it simple, not long or complex. Ok, a novice like me is not anxious about this yet! A story board allows you to be able to see many frames form a story in one single view as well as how they link together to become one coherent whole.
The 3 rules to creating a storyboard are:1. Keep reviewing the big picture.2. Maintain a steady pace.3. Tie your slides together. Now I am starting to get nervous about doing this acitvity. Thank goodness for the help of our wonderful interns!
The FLOW ( I love this!) is the unrestrained stream of thoughts and creativity. We can use sticky notes that are paper or electronic to write your ideas! When did they come up with electronic sticky notes!
The storyboard is the intermediate stage, concept and vision is the begining stage and completion and delivery is the final stage. The abstract storyboard is the source, inspiration, existence that channels the physical storyboard. I hope I can do this! I think Ican!
The software I looked at this evening as well as the steps to create the storyboards were very self explanatory and I tried some of them. As I said, I am thankful for the wonderful interns!I hope to create some fun, engaging and interactive lessons for my smartboard that my kindergartens will enjoy using. I want to share these activities with my kindergarten team.Wow, will they be impressed and surprised at what I achieved this summer!

Just remember to keep it simple. It is very easy to get side-tracked with all the other content you think of as you plan out your storyboard. Having a clear vision will keep you on track. Most of all, have fun!
